Lazy Monday

I really dislike snow. It's quite an exciting prospect but just a cold inconvenience when it actually arrives. I had plans of having such a productive day today but I lost all motivation when I was blinded by the white blizzard outside my window. However, I managed to get myself up, dressed and out of the house (eventually). I haven't done much today, just little errands that needed taking care of. Whilst rummaging in my local fabric shop for FMP materials I decided to go into the charity shop across the way and have a look at what was hiding in the depths of the Sobell House Hospice shop.

I came away with a large denim jacket that I've been after for weeks and a gorgeous blue and white stripey cotton shirt. All for about £8. What made my trip all the worth while though was how happy the lady in the shop was to see someone under the age of 50 buying something. She was the nicest person I've met in a long time and she really put a smile on my face.

I've spent the rest of my day snuggling into my big jumper, surrounded by blankets and cushions, cooking pancakes, and playing with things I've been rediscovering in my room. Quite a relaxed day, I wish every Monday was like this.
